Zouak Maroc is a new business that plans to sell a combination of print on demand and hand painted items featuring Moroccan designs, as well as hands-on workshops with artisans whose designs feature on the products. Through market research and interactions with stakeholders, I established that the website needed to include: viewer education about the designs and their connection to Morocco, displays of their different product lines, and information on how to attend and book workshops. I therefore worked with the company to design a website, write the copy and create product mockups. This was my first project to take a mobile-first approach to design; which was challenging. This experience sharpened my technical abilities in Figma and brought home to me the importance of clear communication for crafting brand-promoting designs.
